I think I made a a post about this a while back that died. as the car warms up gauge rises as usual. When I open the accelerator the needle on the gauge cluster's heat gauge jitters a little and drops towards cold. It seems to be RPM independent and only happens when the throttle is open. Also, the more/longer I open the throttle the faster/farther it drops. Happens in neutral and every forward gear (I try not to be looking forward while in reverse).

Anyone see this problem before? I dont care too much about the reading itself because I can get that when I shift or stop, but I'm mostly concerned that the thermostat may not open (I think thats how one refers to it) properly, or that it will close whenever I gas it.

Check the connection at the sensor. Happend to me, and I couldn't figure it out untill I unplugged the sensor. The connector fell apart in my hand. Cut the wire back and crimp/solder on a new connector.
