I know that usually having a sunroof put in is a bad idea. However I found a complete OEM sunroof assembly with everything needed for a sunroof on craigslist. So I wanted to know if anyone knew anyone or place in north central MD who could cut out and install an OEM sunroof then wire it?

S13 coupes also had the option for electric sunroofs.

You can go check out MA-motorsports which is in Baltimore. They might be able to help.

Sorry about forgettng the details. My car is a 96 so yeah it's a S14. Also thanks for the recommendation I'll give them a call. The price of the whole assembly was $60 and it was pulled from a 95 S14.

does this apply to the hatch too, cuz i have an automatic sunroof and everyone is saying that it was changed but it doesnt look like its been tampered with.

the part is cheap but i bet the labor is going to be expensive.

why not resell yours and get one with a moonroof cause your roof probably don't have the mounting area and the strength to support the moonroof assembly.

or you can cut a roof that has the moonroof on it and weld it

Its more then a hole in the roof. The area around the roof has a tapered lip, then there is the mounting points, which ae welded to the roof support, drain lines, headliner, yada yada yada.

It wont come out right, unless you buy a roof section and cut/weld it in.

cutting your roof for a sunroof will compromise structural rigidity
