ive decided on just to fix my motor which the rod spun a bearing out and melted it up. my question is is it better to replace all the internals instead of just the rod and bearing? if so where can i purchase some oem piston rod and crank kits? I'm looking for the easiest and cheapest alternative to gettin my car back on the road until my front clip arrives cause its my everyday car. I hate walking!

Replacing depends on what's damaged. The crank is savable if the spun bearing didn't chew too much material off the journal. A shop can even it out and then put an oversized bearing in place. However, by the time you did that, you could have just bought a cheap S13 KA and dropped that in without having to tear it apart.

You'd be hard pressed to replace and rebuild everything you'd need to for less than picking up a used KA motor.
