Hey, I am putting my new Beck/Arnley rings on my OEM pistons. Can anyone tell me the ring gap for the top and middle ring? I am assuming they have to be gapped, even though someone I work with said they wont need it. So here I am asking the PRO's.

Thanks!

Ehh i rebuild a honda a couple months ago with NPR rings .....i kinda started runnin out of time to spend on build. Skimmped out on plastiguage and ring end gap just threw it all together. My buddy bought it and its sittin bout 13,000 miles WOTWOT . Def. check it real quick id even go a touch on the larger side for gap since ur askin on the KA-T forum. boost=heat=expansion=BAD if rings touch

To modify gap they make a specialty to do this i might eventually get one!!! The right Special tools are a MUST to me for rebuilding. Maybe its not needed ive never had to grind/file any down someone DONE IT??? <or tell us how it goes!!!
