Oem parts/ need help

Well I have a 93 HB 240sx, and the outer weatherstripping on the sunroof is falling apart and coming off. When I find the part number on courtesyparts it says the part is no longer available and I have to order the whole windshield, what's this crap? Well does anyone know where I can buy the piece of weatherstripping for the outside of the sunroof, the piece that is half stuck to the actual glass? Also does anyone know the part numbers for the door weatherstripping? My car is leaking there Thanks

they sell the door weatherstripping by itself

i got it myself, no mirror or anything. was like 110 canadian or something?

but i have found you will go nuts trying to stop water from going in. every s13 has a pinhole near the mirror where water just seeps in. something you gotta deal with. cover your speaker if its exposed and you are worried

he is talking about the sunroof trim on the outside the black stuff that goes around it

Well thanks venom for the link, that came in handy. But yes the one other thing I need is what fast240 was talking about. It says everywhere this part is discontinued and some part dealers don't even offer that part. Here is the diagram http://www.courtesyparts.com/240sx-part ... _1547.html it would be part number 91246 on the coupe roof, but it doesn't even show for on my hb diagram. I'm lost with it. Maybe I can post some pictures tomorrow of what I need.

yea i see what you are talking about im pretty sure the reason you cant get just that piece is because its attached to the glass i know wha ur saying though cause i need the same piece for my S14

Buy a new sunroof from someone on the forums....that stripping is attached to the glass.

I have weather stripping and a whole sunroof, and all parts. I will sell a hell of alot cheaper than you will pay.

Is there universal weatherstripping one can buy? If so couldn't I get that and attach it around there, anything would look better than my duck tape holding down the pieces that are going to fly off.

I was gonna say check courtesyparts.com but then I finished reading your post. Mine started peeling off around the sunroof and flapped around when I drove down the road. I tore it off and it still doesn't leak. Check the classfieds, post in all the part-out threads asking about it. Check them DAILY!!! Even post a WTB thread, there is a whole subforum dedicated to WTB. You'll run across it sooner or later and pay a lot less than online somewhere.
