Just curious. I have only owned my Zenki for a short time, but already I'm noticing that parts at AutoZone/Advanced/Napa/'Insert Name Here' cost more than OEM parts direct from Nissan Dealers. At least online. I don't have a local dealer close by, so I order online. Maybe most dealers charge way more for their parts? For example, my timing gear set (sold as a pair) costed 25 dollars from Nissan. Autozone's site quotes about 38 dollars. And that says 'Requires 2'. So 80 dallars a set. My knock sensor @ Autozone costs 169.99 and from a dealer is 118.xx. Aeren't dealers supposed to cost more?

I've always owned Ford's and have found dealer prices to be higher than the AutoZone's and such. Is this typical for our car's pricing, or are these a couple of odd examples? Just wondering. Definitely not complaining. OE works for me.

If you're finding new OEM parts for less than AutoZone off brand/rebuilt/reman parts, I'd say that's a gold mine. Buy as much as you can, try to project into the future what parts you'll need for maintenance and buy those parts too while they're still cheap.

dude lifetime warranty on pads, who gives a fck if they went up ten dollars, you'll still get em for the same price or actually free. they have your name and phone number on file. and since you have three 240's like me you can scam them, and bring back old pads and keep getting new ones for free. think outside the box.

It really is a dance, figuring out what to buy from Nissan and what to buy from Autozone.
