Well I need a new inner tie rod and I finally have the chance to replace it. But the OEM version of it costs $127.65 to my door.

Now Moog buys the inner tie rod from a manufacture in Japan and sells it as there own and gives a lifetime guarantee (In the car industry I don't trust that).

Who is to say that Nissan (Parent company of Infiniti) doesn't buy them from the same manufacturers? But that's a risk I am not sure is worth taking.

The labor (Tools+Time for me is around $46) so not that much but if I can borrow the right tool that even better...

What do you guys think?

The only Moog part I ever bought was a sway bar end link for the Q {from Amazon}.....it was about 1/3 the price of I.O.S. and looked identical to the original,even made in Japan........probably by the exact same manufacturer that makes the same part for Nissan.

For a tie rod, I would absolutely try Moog- it will probably outlast the rest of the car at this point.type in the part number at Amazon,as there are some good deals on there {NGK/NTK rear oxygen sensor from Amazon was better priced than anyone else,including sparkplugs.com}

I've been using MOOG for over 10 years as a pro mechanic and have yet to need to warranty one...

Ahhh MOOG --

I've seen a lot of good comments around the Maxima world about MOOG.

Those MOOG engineers break the all the rules with the Theremin

So here's D. Chrysler playing a MOOG Theremin..
