OEM or NGK spark plugs?

1992 Nissan 240SX

I know that OEM spark plugs are actually NGK's but my question is this:

On a perfectly stock KA24DE is there any good reason to buy the special "V-Power" NGK plugs or do the OEM NGK's from dealer or wherever work just fine?

If you have a otherwise stock ignition set up they don't make any difference whatsoever. Just use NGK plugs and 8mm wires and your good to go. I've used both and feel no difference at all.

the v-power seems to add a bit more pep but that could have been a placebo effect. Worth giving it a shot since it's not alot of cash anyway, otherwise go with tried and true normal coppers. NGK's of course. Have you tried sparkplugs.com?

werd, as long as u stay w/ NGK brand... u r good to go. NGK covers ~85% of the import OEM specs anyways

I live about 5 minutes from Courtesy Nissan, and I was just going to buy them from there. They are selling the OEM ones for less than Sparkplugs.com or SCO. Besides, I try to avoid buying over internet with a credit card as much as possible. Though I am going to buy my wires from either Sparkplugs.com or SCO. Probably the NGK wires from SparkPlugs.com since they are offering the better price.
