Does anyone have the OEM mudguards installed on their M37/Q70? I saw the howto thread on DIY install and was curious whether it’s worth adding them to mine. The look interferes with the lines of the car a bit, and I fear they might serve as another place to accumulate rust and corrosion, but wanted to poll the crowd.

Example part here for those wondering what I’m talking about:

I think they are worth it and don't hurt the looks of the car. I had them on my M35 and I have them on my Q70. If you live in a dirty area, they collect some dirt between the plastic fenderwell and the plastic mudguard that easily washes out when you wash your car regularly. On the M35, after about 8 years the 3M adhesive started to loosen up and I had to remove, clean them and reinstall them.

My '12 M56x came with them, along with the side sills. Looks great to me, no issues.

Not a Q70, but see my build thread for pics of a car with them.
