Most likely: once the switch is installed, the circuit for the fogs is complete-meaning power can be sent to them when the foglamp switch is turned on with the headlights on. The thing is, on some cars the BCM (Body Control Module) may not be configured for the foglight option, so you may need a Nissan dealer to turn it on for you with Consult III. I agree with Andy, buy the kit from Nissan. I did it on my L31 in '05 and it worked flawlessly, even with aftermarket Xenons installed.
