I have a '04 QX56 with factory DVD player. It was working fine up till now. Now, there's no picture and I can hear the DVD player spinning noise. I tried ejecting the dvd and it does come out. I tried different dvds, but all it does is spin and no picture or sound. Is there a way to repair the dvd unit or do I need to replace it? Anyone know how to remove it from the center armrest? Thanks in advance for your help.

I guess you could try unplugging it and plugging it back in and see if that changes anything. Other than that, your best bet is to pull it out and send it to they guy that has the sticky for repair at the top of the thread.

How do you take it out of the center armrest console? Thanks for your help.
