Guy locally has a set of Brembo's (front and rear) for sale/trade for the OEM base brakes. Is the difference in braking noticeable? Just wondering if I should put these on my base AT '03 Coupe. I had heard the Brembos have a lot more dust, but any other issues?

Thanks

Dusting is controlled by the pads. The OEM Brembo pads dust like a sand storm. Good set of Project MU's and you will have a completely different outcome. Depending on how much he wants for the Brembo's, the AKEBONO's are a win in most cases. I had the 05-06 dual piston setup first, improvement over 03-04, then onto the Brembo's, another improvement and finally settled with the AKENBONO's, cheapest brand new BBK you can buy. Glad I got rid of the Brembo's for them. Not only do they work just as well or better, but the look alone was worth it...

I'm supposed to go swap with him Saturday for this cheap I can't pass it up. I'll probably get some Mu or Hawk pads for them soon as he has OEM currently.

Hawks will dust as well. I have used NS & B force and they hardly dust, I couldn't believe it.... let me know when you need the pads.

Will do. I have Hawk HPS on my base brakes now, litle dust but much better than the OEM pads.
