oem brake replacement question

hey whats going on ive got an s13 coupe im about to under take changing my oem rotors for some ebc slotted and dimpled golds with hawk pads, will it screw up the way the car stops if i get an oem replacement rotors for the rear with some regular pads? my boy told me ebc doesnt make rotors for the rear and that the discount auto oem replacments are as good as brembo oem replacment rotors so if i get a decent pad like a bendix it will be ok do you guys concur??

yea for a daily driver, it'll be more than sufficient...

you didn't say what type of driving this vehicle would be abused upon...
