Courtesy Nissan now has the armrest added to there site as a featured product sold as a bundle. I am impressed they got that added so quickly. I talked to them just over a week ago when I ordered mine and they said they were going to look into.

Thank you for posting this. I believe this will be "Mod 1". Unless the baby seat counts as #1...

Nope. It actually costs 3.19 MORE to buy it as a bundle than to buy it separately. Go figure.

He's right! You save -$3.19 according to the site. $159.67 if ordered separately.

Ha! I'd order it separately and point it out to someone there... that's retarded.

Ripping the customer off and then telling them about is a great business practice?

Do you lose the rear cupholders by switching to the SL console, or do they flip out from the back? I haven't had a chance to look in an SL. Thanks for the info!

Yes, you do lose the cupholders. The SL has cup holders that fold down built into the rear seat, which of course the S does not have.

I wanted to put an aftermarket armrest in, the only thing that bugs me about my versa. But not sure I want to loose both my cupholders. Zeta products only has beige in stock. Anyone know of any other places to get one?

I did. Very easy install, 10 minutes if you are slow & careful. You just pry the rear cup holder up from the side & remove. Then pull up the piece with the power socket, then the piece around the shifter. 2 torx screws in front, 2 nuts in back. Remove original console, then put in new console & reverse above instructions.

To see what it looks like, just look at interior of any SL Versa.

No. The cup holders is one piece that has the slot for the parking brake. Also different back cover. If you just swapped the piece with the armrest, you'd have a big hole around the ebrake and the back part wouldn't look right.

Parts 19, 21, 22 are commonS Console has 23, 24, 25SL Console has 17, 18, 20

I very much want to add a center console to my 2007 Versa S (stick shift, gray). And I'd like to get the factory unit.

A couple things - the price seems to have gone up considerably at courtesy parts (www.courtesyparts.com/betasite/versa-ha ... -6382.html) from what was previously quoted on this thread. Do I need the entire bundle?

More importantly: I'm a klutz when it comes to these things, although I'm brave enough to try to install this if I have detailed directions. I'm sure the directions given here would be very good for someone who know what they were doing - but does anyone know of detailed instructions for installing this?

I e-mailed courtesy parts, and they said no installation instructions come with the unit.

Thanks,

David

I just installed my center arm rest.. The entire thing took about 10 min.

Install was SIMPLE. I did need to get ONE nut to secure the base down(new rest takes 3). You would think for a complete kit...they would add the .20 locking nut.

Any way... it was very simple and worth it.

yes I bought the entire bundle. NO you do not need instructions.

1) Pop #21 up (no tools)2) Pop #22 up (no tools) this is the shift plate cover3)Grab the back to cup holders(part #25), yank up (it will pop off)4) Unscrew the 2 13mm black nuts and 2 Philips (or T-20) holding the base to the shift base5) Remove rear base6) install new base. replace nuts and screws (if you have a 3rd, add it)7) pop everything else back in including the 2 new parts (snap in parts).8) drink a beer to celebrate your hard work

i bought one off Ebay months ago for maybe like 35-40$ shipped, you actually have to screw it into your existing cupholder right behind the e-brake, does the job, especially for the price, blends well, i never used those cupholders anyway, and the armrest is much better, good storage too.

yep, I said the same thing. 254bucks.... it better.....

Anyway, it does fit perfect, somewhat solid, Works well and it's made of typical Nissan materials. (typical meaning just plastic) It does not squeak yet, so that is a good thing.

I got one too, and it's already installed in my Tiida, very good item and easy to install. I will take some pictures later.
