Mine replaced first time at 7000 miles, right now almost in the second service i see is really dirty again. I dont live in a city with a lot of dust, etc so i wondering if someone else is having this issue. I remember fist time i check other rogue on the dealer with less miles than mine and the same thing. At this point i dont know if it worth to buy a k&n filter to clean and re use it.

Are you talking about the engine air filter?

I just bought a new one for mine since I just hit the 10,000 miles and it is oiled (OEM Nissan). Maybe this is why it attracts so must dust in a small amount of time.

i think the same thing, but every 7500-10,000 seems to be too low for a air filter replacement, of course its a 20 bucks part, but im considering to put a kn in there.

Have you tried just using an aftermarket one? Since you are considering a K&N, have you thought of just using one of the "normal" aftermarket ones? You can often get Mann, Fram, Champion, Wix, etc. for under $5 USD when they have a supplier closeout.

I am a fan of using OEM parts, but if you are considering using a K&N then you're obviously open to aftermarket parts and it seems like a good option is also just using an aftermarket paper filter. No oiling/cleaning needed, just change and go.
