Odometer/Trip Odometer no longer work

I have a 1997 Infiniti J-30. The Odometer/Trip Odometer stopped working. Speedometer works fine. I'm assuming there is a cable that runs from transmission to dashboard. Can anyone help tell me what I need to look for and how to do it? Thanks, Larry

Odometer stopped working is a common age related issue. I would first check the connection, by popping out the gauge cluster. Try cleaning it. If it still doesn't work (more than likely) you can swap the gauge cluster for a used one or get a new one. Install is straightforward.
