I just bought a '23 Versa in October, and instead of showing total miles, the odometer is displaying the total time driven. This is mildly interesting but not at all useful. Is there any way I can change the mode without messing around under the hood, or do I need to take it in for service? The manual was remarkably unhelpful.

The arrow buttons on the steering wheel control all that stuff, see 2-26 ~2-28 in the OM. You can use the vehicle settings menus to customize what's being displayed.

My steering wheel doesn't have the controls as described on 2-26. The ones on the left only affect phone and audio, and the ones on the right only affect the cruise control.

Hmm. Have you tried pushing and/or rotating the trip odometer button to see what that does? I don't have a '23 Versa lot car here to play with at the moment or I'd check it for you.

Yes! Turning it just adjusts the brightness, but pushing it briefly cycles through Trip A, Trip B, and Odometer. Holding it in for a second clears whichever trip odometer is selected.

Thank you

To the left of the steering wheel there's a button that has a picture that looks like 2 windows. Press that a few times and it will cycle through a few options on the base model. Time running, mpg, miles driven, etc
