odometer problem. where is the cable that operates it on the transmission?

odometer problem. where is the cable that operates it on the transmission?

I think the cable is loose, I originally thought it had brocken, but somehow I put 4 miles on today, so something triggered it to start working. Also how hard is it to get to the cable attached to the transmission.

I'm not exactly sure about the 89's, but the rest of the 240's do not use cables. They are all electric driven.
