Odometer problem

Has anybody ever noticed their trip odometer stop moving while your driving? I saw my gas mileage go down and thought my foot was my problem but I caught it one day going to work, it stopped for about 1.5 miles. I've seen doing that at other times as well but I thought I was tripping. Any ideas?

well, I have seen the complaint a couple of times now and from what I can gather it is probably the cluster itself. If your speedo never stops working and the odometer or trip does then its going to be inside the cluster since all of these items use the same signal
