odometer not working!

I bought an S14 from a dealer that I trust. They had told me the odometer wasn't working and I didn't mind. Now I want to fix it and I don't have any idea why it's not working. Does anyone have any clue or seen this before? The speedometer and everything else work on the guages, just not the odo.

This is somewhat common on older Q45s too, we usually replace the cluster.

same for me... odo stopped not too long ago..i'm gonna tear it down and see if the connections are bad or something when my hand gets better..if thats niot the case, replacing is necessary
