Odometer and Speedometer dont work

Both of them are not working it happened right after i wired in my deck like 2 days after i did it? what is wrong what wires should i check???

check your fusebox

Check you sensor on the transmission.

You checked the meter fuse?

On mine (S14) it's on the drivers side to the left of the pedal assembly. I used to take out the meter fuse when I didnt want my miles to go up. It makes none of the gauges work. It also makes it not charge the battery for some reason.

if its not a fuse..

my tach went out on me 4wks ago.. but come to find out that my wires that were all taped together.. were rubbing tha belts everytime i launched.. so they ended up wearing out the tape that covered them and inturn tore up the wire.. so i just got new wires connected the broken pieces and bam.. all the stuff works again.. just a thoughtjoe
