Okay, so i bought a bright orange R33 GTS, non turbo etc.. really basic but really nice. Now the Chassis model reads E-ER33 like it should, but when i got the police to run the vin, on their end it shows up as a GTR Vspec. Now all the numbers still match on their system and on the car so there was no vin swapping or anything ele dodgy like that, so im guessing just an error was made when the car was imported? And the person Registered it as a GTR?

It's just been incorrect registered. All 4wd skylines (gtr, gts4 and gtFOUR) have the chassis code nr32, nr33. The n stands for 4wd, which yours obviously isn't.
