Odd TPS voltage

I read that the tps should read around 5V at WOT. Mine would only read 600mV. I traced the line back to the ECU and it is only producing 622mV. Do you guys have any ideas as to why this could be happening?

My car is a manual swapped NA. Thank you for your input.

it should read .44V closed with the key switched to ON

i know. Reads 45mV closed. It's like the voltage has been scaled or something.

1,000 mV = 1 VDC

500 mV = 0.5 VDC

With the cleaned throttle bodies completely closed, mine is set to 0.38 VDC. It's a variable resistor.

LOL. Found out the Multi-meter was in the wrong mode. Looks like I have a very promising future ahead of me in electrical engineering. :facepalm:

I get 3.8V max instead of 600mV now. And 420mV instead of 42mV.

Thanks for the link to cleaning the valves. I think I might try replacing my TPS before going through all that.
