sooo. today i went out to a movie with a few frends, backed up into a parking spot and i dident know there was a tire rest there and backed up into it, Hit my exhaust and broke a hanger. so i thought no biggie, ill just get a new one welded up..

After i got out of the movie and I left I started the vert up and I herd a clicking noise coming from under the hood, went out and looked at it, the fan shroud was hitting the fan, moved it a bit and the noize stoped.. So i get back in to drive away and I notice it is a little harder to shift out of park (automatic), and as I drove away I herd a buzzing/vibrating sound comming from the auto shifter. As I drove faster It got louder and more violent. I dont know what it could be. it was dark out and dident have time to look at it on the freeway, just wondering if anyone had a problem like this on their vert, What could it be?

Thanks for the help guys

could be a coincidence, but then again, you backed into that tire stop hard enough to snap the exhaust hanger.

Check the motor mounts & transmission mount to see if you knocked them out of place/tore them - sounds like you somehow managed to move the entire drivetrain toward the front of the car.

what should you do?

check what i suggested, then replace if necessary. fix your problems first before upgrading & possibly introducing new issues.

If your fan is hitting the shroud you have motor mount issues. you can either rid th fan clutch, rid the shroud, or get stronger motor mounts. I suggest that you rid th fan clutch and get stronger mounts
