1) Does anyone know anything about the stock carpet on a 1991 240sx SE hatchback(cloth, not leather)? There's so many technical terms about carpetting(spelling?) that it confuses me. I need maybe a 12"x12" square of the original factory graycarpet to patch up where the previous owner's high heel dug a hole to the metal floor panel/thingy beneath. (This was also through the 240sx floormats AND about a quarter inch maybe of green foam-stuff.) I've looked about on the internet and searched the forums but I couldn't make any sense of those carpetty technical terms.

2) How in the world are those basket/covers supposed to attach at the top of the backseat's seatbelts? Mine keep coming loose or falling down and rattle like crazy. They also reveal the horrible factory yellow seatbelt guts within.

If none of this makes sense, let me know so I can clarify, words and thoughts don't flow right when watching "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" and typing at the same time.

Am I the only one who has such awkward problems with my 240?? Did I just not look hard enough for solutions?

I'm confused...

I would recomend you go to an interior specialist, interior can get pretty tricky especially if you dont know how to do it. Wouldn't be that expensive to replace a sqaure foot, get a pro to do it.

Already did that, he said it would be $100 to cut a square from under one of the seats and patch that area, unless I came up with a square foot or so of the right kind. I don't really want to fix one hole by making another.

Maybe it would be cheaper/easier to reupholster the whole thing?

Hey, I'ld try a trip to a local junk yard that has imports. You might get lucky there and score some carpet.

Already tried that, no good quality carpet. I might just go and get new carpet for it instead.
