odd question???

Hey.....just wondering....does anyone know how to take off a glass from the 240? Its the one in the rear that says 240 on it. I was just thinking i could get a knife under it and pry it out.....but is that a smart way or is there another way?

OT: oh and 180fan, thanks for the offer, but this guy is getting one for me this saturday.

np dude. you can take off the rear glass with guitar string like raretrick did, or you can take a heated wire knife to cut through it. The knife you'll need is pretty big if you're gonna do that. also you'll need a new window molding kit and sealant for your new window cuz you'll eff up your old one real good when removing it.

damn.....do you know of anyplace where i could get a new window molding kit and sealant from. I am guessing that i could get it from a nissan dealer right?

careful doing that. It's held in by sealant and lock pins. I've seen a few quarter windows get trashed from prying. What you'll need to do is cut the sealant with a razor blade from the inside and the outside as best as possible. Just be careful not to break the glass

Yep. Its not fun to shatter the 1/4 window glass, believe me I know;)

Whatever you do...DON'T use a screwdriver and a rubber mallet to try to pry the window off...plzkthx.

lol....screwdriver and rubber mallet....yeah....well we will see when i go to take it off of the car tomorrow or saturday. I hope its easy, dont feel like breakin a heavy sweat in this florida heat lol.

thank you zero....that helps me out alot lol. I was just wishing for the best, but it really doesnt matter how hard it is.....as long as i can get a glass for my car....i have been outta commission for a week because of this stupid little glass.
