odd problems
i replaced the positive battery terminal yesterday and since then the battery light on my dash wont go off, sometimes it is really dim, other times it is brighter. i dont think the battery is low, but im not sure. and my e-brake light wont go off. . i need to change the brakes, but woudl that have anythign to do with the light staying on? and one more thing, there is a buzzing/chirping(?) noise coming from the steering column, it does this noise randomly. it didtn start till last night. i have no idea what to do , so please help.
hey let me know if you solved your problem. I am haveing a similar problem with my sr. I took the + batt terminal off the other day to work on my car and when I put it back on I was haveing all kinds of crazy electrical problems. When I start my car the tachometer doesent work untill I give it a good rev. Plus the same battery light stuff you were talking about. Also my power door locks arn't working any more...Let me know it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i never really did anything to solve the problems, but the battery light stays off now, the ebrake still comes on randomly, havent figured that out yet, but now it is doin somethign new, when i start it cold, it will try to stall sometimes and i have to rev it up for several minutes untill it is warm. but when it si about to stall the lights get dark and when i rev it they get bright, it doesnt do it all the time though, so i am lost as to what it could be. but anyway..my car has been rear ended, so i have given up on solving the problems, it is going to be totaled i think, but if any of you have any experience dealing the slow *** insurence companies like Direct Ins. , i could really use some help, i think i have to get a laywer monday. it has been 3 weeks since the wreck and they still wont tell me how much ti will cost. please help , thanks.
