i drove straight and got into a turning lane when i noticed a light grind noise as i slowed down. i sped up as i was turning left and noticed the noise sounded like metal sliding together and got a little louder as i straightened out.

any sudden/jerky steering movement causes it to go away,as well as slamming on the front brakes.

no unusual play coming from front hubs either,

You may be getting down to the brake wear indicators, if you are tight on dough just break the wear indicators off till you can get some new pads.

If you have the money I would replace them if they are at the wear indicators.what kind of driving do you do, if it is just daily don't buy the fancy pads in most cases this is just over kill. The sales person will till you you need the life time warranty, what they don't say is the warranty is against manufacture defects. How do you prove that after you put 5000 + miles on them?

Now if you race "track racing not GAY short F&F stuff" Then I would recommend EBC Green stuff or better.

Ciao

My 89 coupe is also making an odd noise from the wheels when i turn. i think it may be my front arm bushings they are kinda busted would that cause this strange creeking noise coming from the front?
