hi,about 2 weeks ago,as i was regular driving down the road,i shifted from 1st-2nd and was at about 2500rpms and suddenly i feel this jerk,as if i let off the gas fully.but i didnt,i felt the jerk for maybe 3 seconds,as the jerk was happening,my revs dropped from 2500 to about 18-1900.ive been told that it could be my dif mounts,or my transmission mounts.could either of these be causing my problem?and if so how could they be fixed? thanx a lot.

Mine does the same thing, only it happend in any gear from about 2k to 3k, and it is completely at random. Just like it happens when it wants to. Still haven't found the problem so if you figure out what it is, let me know

in mine its not a missfire, its just feels as if i let off the gas, then put it back on about 2 seconds later.it feels like its coming from the back, but ever since i posted this,it has not happened.so idk.one of my friends told me that it could be either diff mounts or transmission mounts.how would bad/worn diff mounts be causing this problem? thanx

are you shure you are feeling it from the back. I had a problem with my 93 se some time back when for no reason it would just start stutering. after a few mins it just went away. this happend three times before i really looked at it. what i found is at times the #1 injector would tempararely stop working but when inspected all was fine. it has not happend since but i have heard of many other people going though the same thing.

Who are you calling an "Odd Jerk"? Huh?j/k :P

its just your engine mounts and your engine moving the whole drive train side to side. You may have actually broken the mounts at this point if it is that bad.

How did you figure out that is what it was? That may be my problem, its like the motor just temporarily wont fire, then it starts back up. It's really hard to explain, but this may be my problem.
