Start by testing the battery supply at all off, then as you start then at idle then at 2500 RPM. By this test result you will ensure the battery and charging system is good.
You cannot trust anything until you know that you have a full battery.
Example of voltages expected:
All off at least 12.7
While starting, no lower than 10
At idle 13
At 2500 15 volts 14.xx
What do you get?
With a good voltage then test your door alarm entry, lock out and relays. The + voltages and grounds.
Grounds are controlled by relay switching, more control and complex systems are made by the use of relays, multi switches and operating device along with micro processor controls and these controls can be very complex to follow and it is a must to use a factory manual and follow the diagrams.
Without documentation to follow you will waste your time unless a wire is broken or off a visible switch.
If you have the documentation be sure to look at it from start to finish before working on the car and heed any warnings.
Ty wraps, tape, wire markers and a knowledge of multi meter operation and series and parallel control are a good knowledge base of equipment to have.
