OK so in the last 2 days my idle has started to get a random miss. It doesnt happen all the time, and as far as I can tell there is no pattern to it.( IE when its hot or cold or anything like that) Ive been so busy at work I havent had a chance to test coil packs, but I was wondering if you all think maybe that is the culprit. Performance is completely unaffected by this, and it only seems to occur randomly at idle. All in put is always appreciated.

Finally, I just want to know if anyone else has gameboy thumb from being to cheap to buy a datalogit. Seriously after an hour of that I'm ready for a good drink. Man thats freakin monotonous....

lol, yah tuning with the commander is a pain, i know i entered 800 values into the pfc using it.get a wideband on the car, im willing to bet that its running a touch lean.alternatively go to the injection map and go one right and 1 down which should put you in the idle area for the map, add like 5 pts of fuel there and the box directly under it.should help some...

Had the same miss with the pfc and aem. It's totally random like you said and only happens at idle. Maybe a CAS issue? Who knows..

if its any consolation mine does the same thing regarless of how much fuel i add...sometimes its uber smooth others it acts up, tho i have noticed when it runs smooth the afr's are round 13.5, and when rough 14.5-15.

honestly i think the problem is power related, well voltage that is, the powerfc seems to expect nearly 14v all the time from the battery...but running efans, gauges, and other power draining items it doesnt always get that.which is why im trying to fit a quest alternator to my rb, 110 amps should do the trick vs rb20's measly 80 amps.should also be good for keeping fuel pump flow up...
