I now have around 13K miles on my M35 and when it is idling a odd humming noise is heard. No service lights or reminders display. This is one of a series odd odd noises. It sounds like there is a fan spinning fast or something>>>>>>>!!!!!!!????????????

Welcome to NICO!

Where is the noise coming from? Engine compartment? Trunk? Behind dash? Other location ...?

Can you hear it from inside the car or only when standing outside?

Make sure you're not hearing your heated/cooled seats. I didn't realize how much noise they made until I was parked somewhere with the radio off.

I have heard the seats they aren't close to as loud as this noise; this one cant be heard when the car is at only 1000. it develops around 2500-3000 during accel and idling.

Very unusual.

I'd take it back to the dealer and ask if they can figure out what this is caused by ... I don't think we will have any input on this.

Please do report back if/when you understand this! Thanks!
