I just experienced a weird GPS mispronunciation. The car thought Thacher was pronounced "tha-KER" instead of the correct "THATCH-er".

My favorite is still a road near my house. Nahatan ("Na-HAT-an") is totally butchered by the car as "MAL-ver-ton".

Have you experienced any odd pronunciations?

You should have heard mine trying to understand my southern accent.

:chuckle:

I called my salesman and told him I needed a southern edition.

I also find the way it says "Pleasant Street" to be really humorous. The voice drops an octave or two, almost like it's trying to sound like a man. It's almost unpleasant.
