So I was at my local pick'n'pull today when I walked by an odd find. At first it looked like a normal 280zx, except for the sideview mirrors on the fenders. When I went to look closer and slid the upsidedown hood off, I was confused by the fact that the master cylinder was on the wrong side. I went around to the right side, and sure enough it was a jdm right-hand drive 280zx sitting at the junkyard in Maryland. It looks like it was owner by someone in the military judging by the sticker on the windshield, he must have had it imported. It was in pretty good shape too, except that it looks like it was sittting in water up the the middle of the doors. The gauge cluster was still there, other than that I can't imagine there are other parts worth anything too much. Also one thing I noticed, the stamp under the hood said displacement was 198#. The engine looked like an l28 though. Did the Japanese have a different engine for this?
