Odd driver window problem

First noticed problem was the widow would change direction when opening or closing. Usually re-opening when trying to close.
Sometimes struggles to close and needs push assist.
Sometimes won't open (like a dead switch).
Sometimes has no problem.

What could cause this?

Some suggestions:

Bad switch (short circuit is reversing polarities)
Bad actuator -- replace
less likely -- bad BCM

Those are the places to start. My guess is the first one -- bad switch.

i would try oiling the window channels with wd40 lithium grease first
If that doesn't work then you probably need a new motor or window regulator
