Odd discoloration in my fogslights...

ok, so yah, I bought these really crappy APC Mini H3 blubs for like $10 bucks a pop. They are so crappy it is not funny because they are not bright and they are not the color they say they are. So ANyway there are for temp until I decide what I want in there... ok... so I bought 2 bulbs same color and I put them in...

One side is like halogen yellow (remember I bought APC white bulbs) and the other side is like 4 different colors. white, purple, blue, greenish, it looks like crap.

So I thought it was odd and returned both. Got new ones and the same thing happened. I said, ok could of happened again and I switch both and the colors stayed the same iirc... I think there is a problem with my fogs them selfs. I don't know if the retractor is in the way or discolored to make them do that or anything... What should I do?

Should I open these fogs up or just say screw it and buy some new ones? I don't want to buy OEM because they are like $300 a pair and I don't want shotty Ebay fogs because I got screwed on stuff from Ebay already... (leaks, pattern sucks etc...)

i think its probably the actual lenses. thats what it sounds like. but i could be wrong.
