First off I did use the search button and didn't find the solution. I was driving the other day and slowly my clutch started to give out. it started with the pedal having 2-3in of play then it slowly got bigger and bigger and the length I had to push the pedal to disengage the clutch grew more and more. I bled the clutch and still the same. I can't even get my car in gear it's so bad now. Any ideas?

I would check the clutch master cylinder. The seal inside the clutch master cylinder could've gone bad and cause it not to funtion correctly. Also, there might be a leak somewhere in your system causing loss in clutch pedal pressure.

It's either clutch master or slave. I had the same problem a couple months ago. It was the master.

I just fixed a cracked clutch fork ( the one that pushes the Throw out bearing. ) Same symptoms. Big headache.

OK I'll hit the junk yard for a new clutch master and hope I don't have to pull off my transmission. Thanks for the help guys

A new clutch cylinder is like 20 bucks. Why not just get a new one?
