I have tried everything i know and nothing seems to help. Here is whats happening:

Scenerio A we have the vacuum line going FROM the compressor TO the internal wastegate actuator... Go WOT in all gears and its peaks at 5.9 psi not fast but not exactly slow it will drop down to about 3.8 psi b4 we hit the next gear and this happens in ALL gears..

Scenerio B we run the vacuum line FROM the intake manifold TO the wastegate to avoid intercooler & piping pressure loss. This way if we have a 6 psi spring at the wastegate we will get 6 psi at the manifold, but we are getting the same results in both setups.

Scenerio C we hook up a Greddy EBC and it will NOT raise up the boost at all. We hooked it up the SAME way my motor is and his will not budge past 5.9 psi not will it HOLD at 5.9 psi... My EBC is wired up like an internal gate and although i have an external its wired for an internal with no issues. We have tried everything and we cannot maintain solid boost at all...

He has 2.5 inch hot pipe, 30 x 11 x 3 intercooler with 3 inch cold pipe and blow thru maf setup identical to mine.

your ebc is not wired corectly in scenario c, what is the matter with b ur using the wastegate spring. scenario a sounds right cause of placement of the accuator vac line!

1st off i have an EXTERNAL wastegate on my motor and my EBC is wired for an INTERNAL wastegate and it works just fine. I tried to wire it up as an EXTERNAL but the diagram in the book for the external setup has a vacuum line comming off the TOP of the wastegate and branching off the ebc solenoid which im NOT using & was not gonna work for my setup, thus is the reason why its wired for an INTERNAL setup... I have no issues with my ebc. A wastegate is a wastegate regardless if its internal or external.... they both do the same job. Back to his setup... when we run straight off the wastegate (from either the compressor or the manifold) it peaks at 5.9 si and drops down to 3.8 psi.... in all gears. Nothing wants to keep his boost solid at 5.9.We hooked the ebc as an internal & external and boost will not go past 3.8 psi even at 100 %. Also used the NO & NC ports and still nothing. COM stays to wastegate as shown in both inter & exter setups...

what is the condition of his turbo? Maybe the wastegate on turbo is junk??? What is the setup?

Well, its been solved.. BAD turboYesterday it started making this wierd high pitched squeeling noise as he started to give the motor throttle and got worse as the rpm's increased. We popped the hook and narrowed the noise to the compressor wheel. Shut down the motor and pulled the intake pipe off and put our fingers in the wheel and had play going up and down as well as IN and OUT and when we spun the fan around, it had resistance and hesitation and sounded like there was tiny rocks / mud in there.. It just felt wrong. Cranked the motor back up and the fan blade would NOT spin at all until we reved the motor up a bit then it would spin but with hesitation to it. So, now we know what the problem is and now he has to figure out what his next option is....New $1200 GT2871R and be broke or a temp T25 for $100 until he can save up for the real deal...

For all u guys that read this, what is so d*mn special about that GT2871R turbo...?? He maxed out his stock ka maf at 8 psi... (on the afc it read 100% air flow when we reached 8 psi) Ive got a T04B and i went to 11 psi and still didnt max mine out.... and his turbo is smaller than mine... Must be better internals...
