odb II code

Went to autozone for code check on CEL. Code was "gear ratio incorrect". I thought I would just erase the code and see if it returns but they won't erase it - for legal reasons. How can I reset the CEL?

Buy an OBD2 scanner is the easiest safest way. Get a transmission flush with a pan drop and filter change ASAP!

Had a pan drop and filter change about 5k miles ago. Was at about 30k miles on factory rebuilt transmission.
