Here's a really, really noob question i need the answer to as I look at this Egg. Whats the octane needed to run the SR20? I cant find it in online specs anywhere.

well how do you mean which octane?

for best performance every day?

obviously the higher the compression the better feul you should run for it not to ping id say a comp. ratio of 10-1 id o for super 100 and above?

Someone was running 85 pretty ok, even with cams. Unleaded regular here in wa is a minimum of 87 i think, so it whould be fine (with 92/93 being premium.)

Its not like that little egg 5spd will use THAT much gas anyway.

87 is just fine in stock SRs, or even lightly modded ones. I ran 89 cause it's a little cleaner. With the turbo I will be running 93 for obvious reasons.

If you plan on advancing the timing to 18-19* I would use no less than 89, I use 91 or higher in my G20 because timing is advanced.

well im running the timing on 22 with 93ron but my compression is going to be between 11-11,5 what do you reccomend?
