Well guys, i have a stock block ka motor pushing 15 psi and im estimating about ~325 rwhp...

If this helps i have a turbonetics T3/T04B H3 stage 3 ex wheel with .48 a/rFrom the compressor specs it should be efficient up to about 20 psi... Then it will start to loose its efficiency and thats when detonation starts..

My question is, since im on stock block and im pushing 15 psi, do u think 93 octane pump gas will be enough or should i run 100 octane or do a mix of the two..??

From what Ive been told, running the stock compression ka motor at 15 psi will run HOTTER than if it was lower compression at the same pressure level... Is this true or not..??

This is why im asking if the 93 octane will be enough.. FYI: My wideband reads mid 10's while under boost thru all gears.. So its pig rich all the way thru...

If your running rich you should be safe as long as you have the timing side taken care as well.

If you lower your compression your effectivly dropping the charge pressure which will result in a cooler burn.

Your turbo is about to be very restrictive if it isn't already. The .48 AR exhaust housing is to small.

a few people on FA have run 15 psi on 91 or 93 for years, you shoudl be fine with good tuning and no boost spikes. look for the white bunny thread, that's a great examp;e
