Wondering if anyone uses that 107+ octane boost and if they can testify to any noticeable power increase...I use 93 octane regardless, if I added the boost, would it make it any better? Is it detrimental at all to the engine's well being? Thanks

Octane booster shouldn't be used unless you are running very high compression NA or high boost turbocharged engines. From looking at your sig MarkE, putting octane booster in your car will only make you lose power. Octane booster simply makes the fuel less susceptible to detonation. In other words, it's hard to ignite. More than likely if you were to run 107 octane (which isn't what that 107+ stuff will do), a lot of the fuel wouldn't be ignited.

MasterMan, in your brothers honda, he is a moron. Most honda's (not the B or H-series engines) will run much better with piss water 87 octane. I have seen a few dyno charts where going from 87 - 93 octane created a 2-4 hp loss.

You can use octane boosters if your using a big shot of NOS and not retarding timing.

Maybe if you wanted to advance your timing more the boost would help it not detonate, other than that I'd think you'd lose power if anything.

octane boosters are garbage,, it does nothing whne it says it reaises your octane "7 points" then mean your 93 will be 93.7 waste of monet if you want high octane get something like c 116 or real race gas
