There is a big thread about them on Zilvia.net. Apparently they get rave reviews from the Honda guys. I dunno if I would run one or not though.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about it. My S15 Helical with 4.364 gears is sitting in the garage...

Hey Float, how much power do you plan on making on your setup?

I picked up an R32 vlsd with 4.36 gears too, but I have an SR(currently stock). Most likely I'm upgrading to an s15 t28 this season. With the exception of those on Fresh Alloy, everyone here thinks the shorter gears are too much.

I understand it will sway the car towards more "track only", but I really don't think it'll be that bad on the highway for occasional trips. At some point I'll throw in a 1.5 way clutch type in the housing.

With N20, aprox 350hp.

The reason I swaped to the 4.36 gears is becasue that is the gearing that the CA18DET came with STOCK. It's not even really an upgrade. Just getting it back to STOCK for the CA18DET.

This is a VERY MINOR gear change. I drove on this gearing for a couple of days, and although the difference is noticeable, it's not dramatic either.

More money for you if it does I guess. Do they make a quality aftermarket diff for the neon?

I just can't get my head around the idea of any sort of aftermarket support for a car called a "Neon"....

i think quaife makes one but its like 1500$ or somthing, and he didnt want to spend it when he could experiment with a 300$ diff.

you would be amazed at the parts hes aquired for this car...
