Obx sucks

I own a 90 240sx and i decided to get intake for it. I went with obx cause i didnt know how stupid they would be. I waited 2 weeks and finally got my intake only to find that they sent me the wrong one. The company who i bought it through tried to tell obx it was the wrong one but they kept saying it was the right one and tried to say i needed to get all these extra things to make it fit. They finally decided to take it back but it's been 2 months now and i still dont have the intake. If any of you are looking for intake system DO NOT get obx.

Maybe it was a typo and they said it was for DOHC engine instead of sohc?

Yup, OBX is right up there with APC in the quality department. At least in my opinion. It all goes back to the old saying "you get what you pay for".

I bought my Injen through http://www.enjukuracing.com These guys are high speed and if they do make a mistake, they WILL correct the problem. I had the wrong strut shipped to my by accident and they overnighted the correct part, arranged the pick up of the wrong piece and apologized for the inconvenience. I have had a great experience working with this company.

ive done business with enjuka as well and i plan on doing more with them. They are a very fine company and i recomend them to anyone on the board.

speaking of intakes, i told my friend i just got a 96 s14, and he goes. Man i hear you can soup up those cars like crazy, i just looked at him. And he asked me if I was gonna put some intake in it, I told him naw, i just blew 4k on this car, id rather do suspension work, and he was like intakes are cheap nowadays. He said like 15 bux. Now ive never heard of this OBX or APC, but a 15 dollar intake??? from pep boys???? So basically one should steer clear of OBX and APC eh?

Yeah they do suck!!!! My ex bought me one of there mufflers. I put it on and it sounded like a dam honda and it even rusted. I put it on cause it was a present but man I took it off as soon as I had money for a HKS Hiper. Actually I bought the OBX intake from a friend cause he had no idea what the hell is was. Only problem was it had one extra hole. I had to modify it and close it up. Other than that it fit. but I would never buy anything from them again.I called there facility up and wanted to complain about how much there crap sucked and they couldnt even speak English! I HATE OBX!

There's like a million of these pure-bred rice companies, but OBX, tenzoR and APC are like the kings of these companies. One of my friends had a set of APC header for his corolla, man that sh1t felt like it was gonna fall apart in my hands, not to mention it made his car sound like as.s, he thought it made it sound angry. Stay the hell away from any of these companies, I'm just glad they don't make a lot of stuff for nissans........yet.

I just buy stuff from HKS, Apexi and such...I dont trust anything else.

You can almost never go wrong with anything from japan, but there are some decent stateside manufacturers, even though most of the stuff is for hondas, like aem, dc sports, skunk2. But like its been said a million times before, you get what you pay for, or you get ripped off.

I used to only want to buy upgrades from the manufacturer also but Im telling you Enjuku is great. They answer any questions you may have about anything quickly, plus there prices are very reasonable. My HKS Hiper exhaust was $100.00 less than through HKS itself. Stay away from those cheap parts, cheaper isnt always better.

I know alot of people, all with a diff. car manufacturer than nissan, who love OBX product and think they are great. Of course they also don't have options for anything else like HKS.
