the B&M short shifter is excellent, i've heard a few bad things about the obx like it tending to break sometimes. Maybe they just installed it wrong? Anyhow the B&M is a little more expensive but u will probably never have to worry about it. Its excellent quality.

I'm pretty happy with my OBX kit. It shortened the distance vertically (1-2,3-4) a little bit, but it shortened the horizontal distance a lot.

How about mounting the OBX shortshifter ? I removed the original shifter once and it was easy(with the right tool), is installation the same way as the original Shifter?

installation of the OBX kit is a lot different that of the stock shifter, but its really easy to install. yes it did decrease my shift throws. but i would recommend buying something a little more exspensive so you get your moneys worth. becuase on the box its says its machined stainless steel but it appears to be nothing but copper with a nickel plating, so i am really concerned about it bending later on. So i'ld go with the B&M.
