ok so im pretty sure im going to order one. not sure when because race season is has only about a month left here but when i get one, and i want it professionally shimmed/inspected do they go by oem specs or do the diffs have their own? would this help me get traction for 1/4 mile racing? im looking to drop my 60ft times.

i have one in my car. some one out there sells a bolts and belville washer kit for it, which i did to it before i even put it in. all i can say, is that this is my single most favorite thing i have done to the car. i auto-x and road race my car regularly, and could not be happier. if i were to do it again, i would probably buy the s15 diff instead though, only because it is a factory nissan piece, instead of a Chinese knock off, but for what it is, and what i paid for it, i am very pleased.

but you must remember, this is a helical, torque biasing diff. this is not a clutch diff, and will not be as good for drifting.
