Will pics when I find a camera. Header is nice, but it made car very loud. Then I remembered that I needed an exhaust pipe when I went through Walmart at 6000 in 2nd with open header. I have a Cali special muffler, waiting on resonator to com in. Without resonator, it is very deep and quiet below 3500, but after that it wakes up a little. Sort of raspy, but tolerable. Header made a huge difference, power delivery is much smoother and gains revs faster. Did lose a little at the very bottom, though. I mean like 600 rpm. I like to show my Honda friends what torque is. They will not try 600 in 5th. p******!!!

Sorry for the hard read, but I was a little tired. Maybe alot. I have my resonator on now, and I love the sound. Not much louder than stock, but it is very deep at idle. Sounds like a V-8 kinda. As the revs increase in a load, it gets a little louder, but never raspy or ricey. It is not much louder than stock anywhere, but is much deeper and flows much better. I can tell a huge difference between the old manifold-2.25-flowmaster that I had and the new header-2.5-Cali special. Power increase is over the entire range, powerband is much smoother, without the big hit at 5500. I was scared however, no one had told me that ceramic header tape will smoke after your first crank it up. I held a hose in my hand while the car idle for 45 minutes while the oil burned out of the wrap.

He cut out a section of pipe to install the 26 inch resonator. At first, I wanted an 18, but he told me that the longer resonator would make it quieter and deeper. It has a 2.5 core and a 3.5 body. The muffler guy made my pipe with only 3 bends, and none of them are over 30 degrees. It has as much ground clearance as stock.

Cost: Resonator-$24 Cali Special 2.5-$35 Piping-$30

Beats paying $600 for a loud name-brand pipe.

IMO Obx has some pretty good quality stuff..fitment is good and felt a little on the top end. I bought the header couple years ago and it's still good. I mean...a header's a header, once someone comes up with a decent design, countless companies will copy it and make similar # hp regardless of brand. Unless ur looking for some professional level hp, a simple header's not gonna matter that much...only thing u actually have to worry about is fitment issues and OBX has good fitment. I saw their stand at SEMA this year and they're product line up is gettin bigger and better. yea..they started out w/ some ricey, low end crap, but its improving..

i had to bend my egr tube to fit my obx...besides that the fitment was good...i bought a bosch 3 wire o2 sensor with a 3/4 thread so that i could use the o2 sensor fitting that it came with...i don't have a check engine light so it turned out all good.

My obx header installed like a dream! everything bolted right up.i had a problem getting the egr tube off the stock exhaust manifold, and 1 exhaust stud broke off, but no big deal. sounds excellent, not obnoxious. runs no cats, 2.5 piping into a carbon fiber megaan racing can

I've had my OBX header on for two years now. Fits great, but getting the fittings off the old one was a chore.

i was able to get the egr tube off but it was a pain. a line wrench would not go around the tube and a open end wrech was rounding the head so i used a pair of vice grips

I've been contemplating getting a header...but I dont want to lose my low end...especially on a semi-daily driven automatic.
