I have a 2002 Quest SE. I am trying to get the vehicle to pass smog (California) and this little blow-by hose that runs from the front valve cover to the rest of the crankcase ventilation circuit is cracked...vehicle will not pass visual inspection of the smog system.

I thought, no problem, I will just go find a replacement at the local auto parts store...went to O-Rielly and they had stuff with a larger or smaller inner diameter but nothing in the size I needed.

Went to the dealer, figuring they would certainly have it. Was advised NOPE! This is an OBSOLETE part. Dealer did NOT have an alternative for me. Did check computer to see if any other dealer had it. NOPE. Gave me the part number: 11826-0B020

Checked the internet, sure I would find it somewhere...so far no dice.

Anyone know an alternative? A similar part from another Nissan engine that could be cut down to size? It is a simple straight piece of hose.

New poster, I can't post URLs or images or I would put in a shot of the part or diagram.

Is this the breather hose that goes from cam cover to air filter housing or the PCV hose that goes from cam cover to vacuum side of intake manifold? All else fails, I'd take that hose into BLowes, Homes Depot or the likes to see if you could find something close enough to hose clamp in place.

Dheck the diameter of the outlet this goes onto and find the nearest generic hose by diameter. NAPA and other places may have a replacement. Or try the Ebay!
