Object Lost in Climate Control Vent

Hey everyone, new to the forum and I have a question I need help with. I just purchased my 2007 Altima 2.5 SL and am loving it. My problem I need help with is I recently was driving and ran into a issue in which I need to dispose of a certain item immediately. Well at the time, the logical place was to push it into my air vent. Now I know what most of you are thinking..."Dumbass" might be an accurate way to put it, but I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a way I could retrieve this item? Its not metal, its more of a ceramic or glass material.

I pulled the glove box out today and had no luck at finding any were to pull the bottom out and find it. I think I am pretty much F'd, but I thought I would get a second opinion. Im pretty desperate for a solution seeing that this item smells everytime I turn on the heat. Any help is greatly appreciated!

wtf ... u stuff something in the vent.. and it fell in? i just want to say " WTF" and i like to "LOL"

Ya I have been saying WTF when it happened. Being in an altered state of mind and seeing a police officer speeding to catch up to me in my rear view mirror caused panic to say the least. None-the-less, if anyone has some advise I would appreciate it. I pulled out the glovebox and can see the vent box, but have no way to access it....its tighter than...well I wont go there.

Ive finally resorted to buying hella air fresheners and putting them in the vents. Is this something I could have a mechanic easily get out for me?
