i have a 95 240sx that i'm putting a 97 ka motor in.is there anything in particular that i should look out for before i start

does your car have the 16pin obdII type data link connector by the drivers left knee?(under dash)

the car is actually not where i live, i'm driving 300 miles away to put a motor in it.i believe it does though...but i'm not sure

Chris on the 95 I believe the ODBII connector is located to the left or right of the center console. 96 is when they moved it to the left knee location to meet the OBDII standards.

You car is already mostly OBDII It has most of the sensors installed. I dont think swapping engines will be much of a task at all, as a matter of fact just swap the long block and keep the original manifolds with all the sensors and actuators installed.
